External communications

Engaging with your audience is easy with the Media Operations System with a combined list of your texts, emails, requests, call logs and Tweets. In the studio this is included within the show prep page, making it easier for your presenters and reducing the number of tabs required. And with the user access level controls you have complete control over who has access and when.

Web based text message system

Texts are a quick and easy way for listeners to contact you. And it's quick and easy for to receive them as well. To keep the costs down you can share a number using keywords (eg messages sent with a specified first word such as 'studio' or your station name). Or you can opt for a dedicated number, which you can still have keywords on ton separate messages, for an annual fee of £100.

The numbers are standard UK mobile numbers and so are charged at the standard network rate, so for listeners on a contract it will be included within their plan. We do not use short numbers as these are more costly to both you and your listeners.

Emails

Emails are a powerful method that is free to send and receive, so it's no wonder it's a popular way of communicating. Allow your staff to access the studio inbox direct from the system to give your listeners an easy way to communicate while keeping it easy for the studio to easily manage them.

Music requests

A form can be added to your website to allow listeners to add their requests and dedications. If the requester adds their email address or mobile number, they will be sent a message to let them know when their request is likely to be played and the studio can enter a message with any notes.

Call logging

Keeping track of your phone calls can become a juggling act in a busy studio, particularly when there's more than one person involved. The call logging feature allows call takers to record details of each phone call quickly and easily so that the presenter has a combined list of all the calls.

This also allows the calls to be answered in a different room, or a different building! So if you want an outside broadcast and continue to use the phone system you can without the hassle.
