Ofcom has today confirmed that 31 community radio stations will be receiving grants to help them stay on air, receiving a share of £73,658 tax payers money.
In total 77 stations applied for a combined total of £355,091 funding requested, way above the amount of money left for the 2020/21 funding allocated by Ofcom.
The grants ranged from £500 to £5,088, with an average of £2,376 awarded.
