Applications have opened for RSL licences for March and April 2024

Ofcom have opened applications for restricted service licences - perfect for small scale areas and events - covering an anticipated period of high demand in March and April 2024.

These licences are ideal for dedicated radio services for religious observances such as Ramadan; radio services for hospitals and universities; drive-in movie soundtracks; and commentary for events.

Anyone wishing to broadcast on a restricted licence between Wednesday 6 March and Sunday 14 April 2024 (inclusive) has until 5pm on Tuesday 5 September 2023 to apply.

More details can be found on the Ofcom website.
