Local radio has been integral to local communities for decades and today we're celebrating all the local radio stations across the country.
The theme for Local Radio Day in 2023 is community heroes; celebrating fundraisers, volunteers, charity teams and all the random acts of kindness that help others.
Community Heroes are everywhere, from charity teams to solo superstars such as those picking up litter in their local area.
